I read the story, but it doesn't make sense. Its not like your body is breaking down at 26, so that you need to focus on one form of the game over another.

well I'm never going to be able to prove this, so I might as well drop the subject. However, I know a few people close to him that say he's not 26. I think 28 may be more like it. But again, there's no way for me to provide concrete proof so please ignore my comments on this!

And I think he will be back before the world cup.

Anyways, I think there is more to this story then him 'concentrating on the WC 2007'.

Even if he were 28 years old, my comments would still stand.

Exactly. A twenty-six (or twenty-eight) year old just doesn't decide to stop playing one form of the game while playing another.

It's a perfectly logical move - he's moving into wider areas, doing a Darren Gough and entering this year's 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

    Oh, sorry. That was Faisalabad.

Its not about this age, it probably has something to do with being dropped in the last game

Sounds like something really dodgy going on at the PCB. Has someone upset him?

    ..has to be for sure

I mean the guy was out of the team for so long, came back strongly and made a name for him all over again. He relishes on all types of bowling, batted brutally in the recent tests, gets more sponsors and fans, loud mouth in the team, sledges well and NOW - suddenly he decides to take a break? from TESTS - afterall

There is something more than fishy and surely has to be in connection with the last game
