I was just wondering, since Bangladesh's win over Australia last year was the #1 upset of all time, now if they beat them again, how it will be ranked? Will it be a new #1 again superceding the previous one, or it won't be on the list of 10 at all? What you guys think?
Largely depends on the context of the win, but probably not due to a) they've already done it and b) they're on home soil, and the spinners could come into play.

Anyone else loving the Aus-Bangladesh advertisements that are being aired on Fox Sports to promote the series? The video package of Ashraful's ton and Bangladesh's win is so cool. :D

Honestly, for me personally the word I would use is "funny". It was hilarious to see these larger than life, almost rockstar like, Australian bowlers having no answer to the Bangladeshi batsmen. The way Ponting was repeatedly discussing tactics with his bowlers, I found that hilarious!

The funniest moment was Aftab Ahmed a 19 yr old kid hitting Jason Gillespie for 6 and tying the game.

The look on Pontings face after that was just priceless.

I've watched that game many times and I just can't help but laugh. For a BD fan its really the most surreal experience. Part of me still dosent want to beleive it happened. I have to watch it every few weeks just to make sure it wasnt a dream.

Having said that I doubt there will be anything funny about how Australia play this time around.

But you never know.....

'Not worrying about stuff like that' is called complacency. I appreciate that there's another saying called "once bitten, twice shy" that should take care of that, but then again there's always "We'll have a bowl, mate".

You sure you can afford it? Your life is in debt to me. I don`t know if you have 50 pounds. :D
ha, well i wont bet my life this time, its possible him or Bashar or Ashraful may make a 50 but not a hundred, not with Lee charging at them in this form & Warne likely to bemuse them all..

I can see Bangladesh maybe having a couple of sessions in their favour in the tests, but i really can't see them keeping it going through 5 days.

The ODI's is where bangladesh will try and focus, Aus can and have fielded some pretty poor ODI attacks in the past, and the tigers will try and get them in the one day games, when they might be resting the big guns.

On the other hand this is a great chance to blood some new talent especially in bowling ranks for Aus, they have to find someone else than tait, who's body is living on borrowed time.

Maybe Warne will score his first test century. I'd like to see Jaques play in the tests. With Ponting not feeling well will he be left at home?

Hogde would still be good chance to get a game if Ponting is injuried/ill considering Phil Jaques recent form. There also the option of playing Watson as a specialist batsmen.

Aus aren't interested in Watson as a batsmen, there's plenty of batsmen waiting on the racks of the domestic leagues, if Watson gets selected it will be to sort out his bowling.

You sure about that, when it comes to domestic batsmen he is right up there...

yup 100% sure it's his possiblity of being a flintoff-style allrounder that's getting him near the test team, why do you think symonds is playing?

yes his 5th bowling option is why he gets near the team, but he will end up being more of the Kallis-style all rounder. A batsmen who can be the 5th bowler. I have no idea why Symonds in the side infront of Watson, i guess he had one good game.

Excatly and Ponting wants that to give him variety when he bowls the two spinners and some more depth in the batting order.

Bangladesh? Cricketing super-power?

Erm, I don't think so.

Does anyone apart from the Aussies and the Bangladeshis actually care about this series?
I'm sure plenty do.

We could say does anybody apart from the English and Indians care about the India v England series?
