South Africa's in 1998, or Englands in 1998 for that matter.. Zimbabwe's have all been good exept for the one they used in WC1999..

An ill-fated NZ flirtation in the late 1980s with white one-day strips that had a set of black stumps printed on the stomach. Someone forgot to tell the manufacturers that a white ball is used in ODIs...

They could have used red balls for their ODIs though in that case. The India-NZ series in India was played with white clothing and a red ball. This was as recent as '99.

In fact we had many ODI series in white clothing in the late 90s while the rest of the world was going ga-ga over coloured pyjamas...the series against Zim, the Ind-Aus-Zim tri series etc..

But NZ had already moved with the times. There was no going back. :p
