Bangladesh beating anyone but us for a change!

International Coach
- An Ashes series as good as 2005 (dont really mind who wins)

Australia won't win 5-0 in 2006 because the final Test doesn't take place until 2007. :)
I hope that the schedulers produce more sensible schedules. No more Test Cricket in England in mid-September(yes it's just as likely to rain in England in July as it is in September, but there's something unreal about watching cricket in the Autumn). No more silly rule changes - supersub etc. Ian Bell to be awarded in the Honours List for his services to crick.....................hang on, he already has been, it's a funny old game.

Given the (apparent) emptiness of the Australian all-rounder cupboard, perhaps someone ought to suggest that Rikki steal a loaf or two.

Notts to regain the county championship,
England to win in India
England to win the ashes (or at least the games being played in 06)
Chris read to be picked over the hopeless geraint jones
Improve on my best figures of 4-20 in leg-spinning (took a hatrick that day)
...And improve my batting

Pakistan wins Test series against India.
Ashes lives up to the hype.
Sami learns to bowl line and length.

-England to retain The Ashes in another classic series.

-England to avoid defeat in the test series in India.

-England to not lose a test in the summer series v SL & Pakistan

-Vaughan & Harmison to have better years

-Simon Jones fit & back in the harness

-Better year for The West Indies, cricket needs a stronger Windies team.

You do live in Karachi, right.

Even if they do not have a birght 2006, the team is full of young talent and in years to come the Windies will be a team to reckon with.

No need to worry regarding Windies as far as I am concerned.

New Zealand to beat S.Africa for the first time in a test series in Africa. And Bond to be man of the series.

Cricketer Of The Year
FOR AUSTRALIA:
  • Gilchrist returns to form with the bat
  • Symonds bowls in bulk, not in bits and pieces
  • Hayden returns to the ODI side, and Martyn returns to the Test middle-order
FOR ENGLAND:
  • Competent reserve batsmen make the team
  • They find reserve all-rounders for Flintoff
  • Chris Read returns
  • Giles scores more runs
  • Fielding improves
FOR INDIA:
  • Joginder Sharma plays a full all-round role in Tests
  • JP Yadav is a regular in the ODI side
  • The selectors don't drop Gautam Gambhir
  • VR Singh becomes the team's new strike bowler in Tests and ODI's
  • Fielding improves further
  • Munaf Patel becomes a national team contender
FOR NEW ZEALAND:
  • Fix their problem with opening the batting
  • Fulton becomes a regular in Tests and ODI's
  • The whole team scores runs more consistently
  • Bond hangs on, Butler returns, or those young tykes make the team– somehow they get more pace in their attack
FOR PAKISTAN:
  • Akhtar keeps up his new-found form
  • Razzaq returns to the Test side
  • Afridi stays in ODI's
  • Fielding and running between wickets improve
FOR SOUTH AFRICA:
  • They find a quality spinner, or just pack the side with pace, seam and swing
  • Justin Kemp bowls in bulk
  • Pollock is a genuine run-scoring option
FOR SRI LANKA:
  • They get a genuine all-rounder– they're missing one, and how!
  • They play a four-man pace attack
  • They get a new wicketkeeper– Upul Tharanga, perhaps?
  • Michael Vandort makes the XI, along with a few more new recruits who have been scoring runs
  • Fielding improves
FOR WEST INDIES:
  • Batsmen occupy the crease longer– a lot longer
  • The people in charge back pace, rather than seam and swing
  • They don't pick spinners just to get them in the team
