Australia won't win 5-0 in 2006 because the final Test doesn't take place until 2007.
I hope that the schedulers produce more sensible schedules. No more Test Cricket in England in mid-September(yes it's just as likely to rain in England in July as it is in September, but there's something unreal about watching cricket in the Autumn). No more silly rule changes - supersub etc. Ian Bell to be awarded in the Honours List for his services to crick.....................hang on, he already has been, it's a funny old game.

FOR PAKISTAN:

• Akhtar keeps up his new-found form
• Razzaq returns to the Test side
• Afridi stays in ODI's
• Fielding and running between wickets improve

FOR SOUTH AFRICA:

• They find a quality spinner, or just pack the side with pace, seam and swing
• Justin Kemp bowls in bulk
• Pollock is a genuine run-scoring option

FOR SRI LANKA:

• They get a genuine all-rounder– they're missing one, and how!
• They play a four-man pace attack
• They get a new wicketkeeper– Upul Tharanga, perhaps?
• Michael Vandort makes the XI, along with a few more new recruits who have been scoring runs
• Fielding improves

FOR WEST INDIES:

• Batsmen occupy the crease longer– a lot longer
• The people in charge back pace, rather than seam and swing
• They don't pick spinners just to get them in the team
