Gloucester sign 2 Kiwi;s

Tim

Cricketer Of The Year
I heard rumours a few weeks back that Gloucester were about to sign Hamish Marshall, and that has eventuated. But they have also signed Shane Bond which is interesting..Im surprised NZ were willing to commit him to a heavy workload.

i think it will be the best for bond we cant keep protecting him he needs to learn to deal with a heavy workload as our best fast bowler and he will get some experiance in bowling in england conditions

shaka

International Regular
been confirmed today i think. Will be good for Hamish to try get out of his current dip in form.

Kiwi

State Vice-Captain
I personally dont think they english pitches will suit marshell. Low and slow. he is definently a back foot player so it will be interesting to see how he goes. They also have a Kiwi playing in there 2nd XI and they were orginially interested in signing him, however he commited to club cricket instead. That was Wicketkeeper Pete McGlashan
