Is this Mehrab Hossain jnr the discarded former Bangladesh opener who made their first ever century in international cricket? Or some younger namesake?
Nope. The cricket you're thinking of had a bit of a drug problem then got suspended for a year after signing with two different clubs in the Corporate League a while back. Mehrab Hossain jnr is an exciting 18-year old all-rounder.

a massive zebra said:
Does Ehsanul Haque not deserve an extended run in the national side?
Probably but as batsmen like Aftab Ahmed are trying to find a way into the test team I can't see Ehsanul playing for a while yet.

Ehsanul Included in Bangladesh 'A' Squad for One-Dayers Against Sri Lanka 'A'

Squad: Tushar Imran (c), Nazmus Sadat, Mehrab Hossain jnr, Nazimuddin, Saqibul Hasan, Mahmudullah Riyad, Farhad Reza, Ehsanul Haque, Saghir Hossain (wk), Mohammad Sharif, Shafiq Al Zabir, Nadif Chowdhury, Nazmul Hossain

Finally the selectors open up their eyes, but the squad looks an opener short (where are Nafees Iqbal, Tamim Iqbal, Uttam Sarkar!!!???)

I don't know. They really should give Tamim Iqbal more exposure, as it seems he is the player with some promise.

Bangladesh win first one-dayer by 30 runs

Full Scorecard

Runs for Nazmus Sadat, Tushar Imran and Saqibul Hasan; wickets for Shafaq Al Zabir, Farhad Reza, and Nazmus Sadat.

Pitch must have turned sideways with two fairly part-time offies doing all the damage, but Bangladesh will be very pleased with that performance.

I thought Kulasekara was/is playing in Kandy? Even so, that's a pretty decent Sri Lankan lineup and a big achievement seeing as for some of the Bangladeshi players it's their first season of first-class cricket.
