Uneasy Predictions

What are your predictions (related to cricketers of course) that you think will come true, but hope they don't?

One of my big fears is that Simon Jones will have his career recked by injuries. He's had more than his fair share already & we've only just started to see the best of him.

Another big fear is that The Ashes are only on loan....

<evil-laugh></evil-laugh>...........the English are already worried that their honeymoon period will be short. :D
Come 2006-2007, they will get a solid spanking by the Aussies......

It's no wonder we rarely win anything with negativity like this! Saw more than enough in the Super Series Test to think that the Australians should be very worried :D

Mohd Sami playing for Pakistan again!

I fear this will happen, i believe he's the most overrated player in the world and even though i'm not exactly a well wisher of Pak cricket team, i would still hate to see M Sami playing for Pakistan as his selection is nothing but a crime.India does the same thing (though to a lessar extend) when they pick Ajit for the team.

  1. The super-sub and power-play nonsense sticking on in ODI's.
  2. Ajit Agarkar and Parthiv Patel becoming frontliners in the Indian ODI side.
  3. The young, unfancied West Indian pace battery replaced by the over-rated, slower frontliners.
  4. The Indian ODI side wearing those awful navy blue uniforms again
  5. Doordarshan getting rights to all cricket telecasted in India
  6. Dilhara Fernando continues bowling with an old ball.
  7. New Zealand running out of all-rounders
  8. More fake Adam Gilchrists playing for national teams.
  9. "Wind stopped play"- the winds blowing away the mobile floodlights in a day-nighter at Trent Bridge or other non-floodlit venues.
  10. England crashing without Flintoff.

I really don't understand why you continue to do this but why do nearly all your posts contain something to try and get at Pakistan members on these forums?

This is a final warning.

Shaun Tait will never get the chance due to injury or other problems to live up to his talent at international level.

Mike Hussey will never get a run in the Australian test team.

None of the current crop of young West Indian quicks will manage significant success at international level.

Shaun Pollock's bowling will continue to decline rapidly to the point where he is a liability for the South African team.

Shane Bond's career will continue to be ruined by injury.

Brett Lee will continue to struggle at test level.

Shane Watson's bowling won't ever develop to genuine test standard, and he will be forced to play as a specialist batsman.

Glenn McGrath will suffer a serious, career-ending injury before he gets to 600 wickets.

Rahul Dravid's batting may suffer long-term if he becomes full-time captan of India due to the pressures, politics and BS unfortunately involved with Indian captaincy.

Mohammad Kaif won't play another test match till 2007.

Nathan Bracken will become a more permanent member of the Australian ODI team, and hence the sight of his ridiculous hair will constantly plague my television screen.
