Tendulkar on Warne (todays newspaper) " Warne is Gods gift to cricket". Warne is also the one Australian player Tendulkar would have playing for India.

Sehwag was asked the same questions yesterday. His responses? Murali definitely better than Warne, and McGrath the Aussie he would most like to see play for India.

yeah i included hadlee in the team purely for his bowling abilities...any batting from him late in the order would be a bonus...

in any case, he wasn't that much of a batsman anyway, for most of his career, he was a magnificient bowler and a big hitter late in the order...

I still think the attack of Lillee, Hadlee, Mcgrath, Ambrose and Warne would have the edge although will acknowledge Marshall should be in any top side

While in the dentist waiting room just now, I read that Merv Hughes thought Sunil Gavaskar was the best batsman he'd bowled to.

I also learnt that Javed Miandad called him a 'fat bus driver,' not conductor. And for some reason in that game, Border had told the whole team not to give Miandad any lip...

LOL, I remember reading that after Merv got him out he starting circling and celebrating, saying: "Tickets please".
