Seems pretty certain if you read the whole article, not advisable calling Flintoff a liar either.social said:So we're expected to believe that a player was shot at with a pellet gun and, at the very least, play was not stopped until the offending weapon was removed.
Good luck with removing a pellet gun from somewhere within an Indian crowdsocial said:So we're expected to believe that a player was shot at with a pellet gun and, at the very least, play was not stopped until the offending weapon was removed.

Well it does seem surprising that we didn't hear of it at the time considering the security concerns that surrounded that tour. However on the other point one might consider the effect on an Indian crowd of refusing to stay on the field in the middle of a game where the Indians had a very good chance of winning (they lost by 3 runs).social said:You're kidding me arent you?
Players staying on the field whilst being shot at with a pellet gun = Flintoff dumbest human being ever or story greatest load of tripe ever.
No it's not surprising at all that we didn't hear of it, a certain country picking at the seam when they were playing England was equally well swept under the carpet.greg said:Well it does seem surprising that we didn't hear of it at the time considering the security concerns that surrounded that tour.
