Pathan has come of age!

A few moths back people had started writing off Irfan Pathan, but his stunning recent performance has stunned his critics.I think Pathan is a much improved bowler now, the way he has been performing lately, the way he's leading the Indian attack in test matches has proved one thing that he's a pacer to reckon with and is right up there with other young top bowlers like Harmison and Flintoff.

I believe Pathan,Flintoff & Harmison will be among the top 5 pacers in comming years.

Why do you people persist with rubbish threads that give a bad image to Indian supporters? Pathan has taken 7 wickets against Zimbabwe. OMG! LEGEND!!!

34 wickets @ 11.29 against Zimbabwe and Bangladesh (including the first innings of this match)

27 wickets @ 47.22 against everyone else.

34 @ 11 against Zim and Ban is a pretty good effort, unfortunatley the rest is not quite so good.

Oh for God's sake. Why do you insist on acting like this? Where the hell were you when all 3 of our pacers got absolutely belted against NZ in the last ODI final?

Its one thing being an Indian supporter, its another being blind. He's still only 20 years old, and has many years to come before he officially 'comes of age' as a bowler. He has plenty of potential, but if posters like you continue to hype him up and he doesn't deliver well than you'll just look silly.

Pathan's a decent prospect, but he's got a lot of improvement before he even proves himself to be good enough for test cricket, let alone "comes of age" and becomes one of the best bowlers in the world. India play England soon. We'll see how he goes then.

You could add Kumble to that list. The difference in the gaps, between Kumble and Irfan and between Irfan and Harmison, as far as 'pace' is concerned, cant be too much
