Sky can get a lot more revenue from subscriptions etc.
I don't have it, and probably won't have it next summer either, because I cannot justify the cost bearing in mind how little TV I watch (it'd be cheaper next year for me to attend a day at every Test)
But the point is that no terrestrial broadcaster can benefit from paying for the rights to the game, so I don't blame them for not bidding, because quite simply it wouldn't make sense to.
