I'm just a bit puzzled by your screen name Slifer. It says School Boy/Girl Cricketer. Are you a boy or a girl?! I'm sorry I'm just curious.

Not funny. Anyway Im a youth (aka young man ) from the islands who happens to be in the U.S. studying Air Traffic Management. Cricket is just a way out from the pressures of school.

Good lists there. I'd be inclined to rate Hadlee and Lillee slightly higher, and maybe look at including Trueman and Tendulkar, but aside from that I generally agree.

No Warne in top ten and even "unlucky to miss out" list... Is it a joke?

How can you not have Lara in your top ten. He only has the highest score in both test and first class cricket (something even Bradman didn't acheive!)

This is almost perfect. For the batting I'd have Graem Pollock higher and Jack Hobbs. I'd also put Muralitharan higher for bowling.

Yes he did. 8-)

Bradman's 334 at Headingley in 1930 broke the highest individual innings record in Tests, and he had already beaten Ponsford's first class record of 437 in the previous Sheffield Shield season with 452*.
