Yes he did.

Bradman's 334 at Headingley in 1930 broke the highest individual innings record in Tests, and he had already beaten Ponsford's first class record of 437 in the previous Sheffield Shield season with 452*.

I think he met Bradman never scored 501 in first class cricket and also he never scored 375 or 400 in Test cricket.

Don't get me wrong here, I think he is a fine bowler, but never in a million years would I have him placed ahead of Garner, Marshall, Holding, Tyson, Trueman and more. I would like to be enlightened to why some people rate him so highly.

Because he is the greatest fast bowler to ever play the game. Marshall, Ambrose, Lillee are close. And the fact that he does it with less pace than any of the other three makes it mind boggling to me. His accuracy is so insane...I don't know how a person can be that accurate that often.
