Well for a start, how did England regain the Ashes at 2-0 with 2 to play?

To regain them, Australia must've won in the previous series, thus meaning that 2 up with 2 to play could still be a drawn series.

Regain, hmm, I guess is not the right word, I was looking for basicly win again in one word.
