Mcgrath simply because Pollock has lost some venom as a bowler and his batting is not based on a solid technique. Mcgrath is atleast still a big force with the ball and has just been better than Pollock. Also he just broke Walsh's record of 553 runs at No.11 and also managed his first 50 this year.
did u watch the first match of the Afro-Asia cup? The deliveries he bowled to Sehwag and Youhana were superb. I don't think any captain would complain if they had Pollock as his opening bowler. I'm not taking anything away from Mcgrath, but Pollocks' batting ability puts him ahead in my team.

McGrath, cant say Pollocks batting has ever impressed me much either.
Pollock has 13 fifties and 2 hundreds. I think thats pretty good for a block who comes in at 7 or 8.
