It is amazing that there can be two England sides within twenty years of each other with such "great" batting orders !!

Imagine, Bell at number three in one and Slack(did he really exist) as opener and Peter Willey at number four in the other !!

Did this 1985 side really play together in more than a single test, if that ?

Not sure, but certainly the best batsman of the summer isn't present in that line-up.
