VRV Horsepower

Heard of him before, but just because he can bowl fast doesn't mean much.We have an example of M Sami, a bowler who bowl fast and end up even faster with the bat.

Interesting article. I fear VRV Singh is in the mold of Munaf Patel though. Does anyone have actual verified stats on his pace rather than conjecture?
CricInfo journos actually watch matches, so they know what they're talking about. However, he must make a North Zone Duleep side, then an India-A team, and finish one more season of FC cricket before being considered a national team contender. He's just the raw material- he's not yet seasoned. And of course, he must take fielding and fitness seriously- that was why Sandeep Patil was unimpressed with Munaf Patel. He has his U-19 and limited FC experience on his side- Munaf didn't, and was picked out of obscurity.
