Mike Brierley wasnt defensive - he just wasnt good enough to play test cricket.

Can't believe nobody's mentioned Mark Richardson. Dravid is a lot more aggressive nowadays. He mixes a new found positiveness with his already solid technique.

I'd say Richardson is more defensive than Dravid.

He was mentioned in the initial post. I guess no one felt the need to disagree with his selection, so he didn't get mentioned again. :)
