Chris Martin has to be one on flat pitches (ie in terms of peneration).

yet he somehow destroyed SA in a series where every other pace bowler looked absolutely ordinary in the conditions.
perhaps he isnt a very capable bowler when the ball isnt swinging, which is a different story.

i dont know what you mean, because very few bowlers are capable of bowling on dead flat wickets. the whole notion that martin is incapable outside of seaming wickets is wholly ludicrous, because hes about 20X times the bowler that franklin and oram are.
