I had an idea that came from the Super 18 thread about a combined league of domestic teams in Australia, NZ and SA. You have a simliar league for Asian domestic sides from Sri Lanka, India and Pakistan. You would have 4 teams from each country, the Sri Lankan teams will be made up of 4 Inter-Prov side, the Indian sides will be the 4 out of the 5 Duleep and Deodhar Trophy sides and Pakistan could reduce their 12 domestic sides to 4.
The format of the championship could be a short 20 Twenty Series to start of with, 5 Group Matches, then the semi and final. You could have a 22 round OD tournment and a 11 round FC tournment. The championship would go for 4 to 6 months which is longer then the current tournment in any of the countries. The guys that don't make these sqauds could still play in their domestic championships. Something like this would probably improve the standard of cricket in all the countries and also may attract larger crowds.
I gather no ACC guys probably look at this forum so it unlikely to happen, but what go u guys think anyway.
