If you can kindly tell me what is the policy regarding copyright issues regarding posts/posters, i would be grateful.
Ie, does a poster have copyright over the contents of his post that are his/her words and not snipped from another website or quoting/paraphrasing others ?

As far as I'm aware, the same legal situation stands as with any original theory. If you're the first person to write something, your copyright holds with respect to wording - obviously it doesn't copyright the idea of e.g. "I think Don Bradman's the greatest batsman ever" or "flat Spin GOodD", but an article written on a forum holds the same intellectual right re protection against it being copied verbatim and passed off as another's work as any other medium.
