Best of luck to Italy (& everyone else taking part).

Joe Scuderi is a big plus; he was a very useful player back in the day. He must be 35/36 now though.

Smacked 83* against our team of immigrants in Belgium last year. Still think Italy are gonna come up light against Nepal - who must be going in as overwhelming favourites.

Bump.

Nepal lost twice - first to Papua New Guinea by 72 runs in the group stages, then by 3 runs to a wide-bowling Fiji in the semi, and in a shortened 33-over final, Papua New Guinea made 176 all out in 32.4 overs with a blitz of a 62 from their all-rounder star Jamie Brazier. Fiji rolled over gently in a chase that was always gonna be too big for them, ending up with 146 all out.

So Papua New Guinea get to travel to Ireland. Can't fancy them getting anywhere, but still leaves one wondering the choice of teams for the Intercontinental Cup...
