Why don't you see what context the quote was in dude ;)... check Off Topic before you blindly accuse me of anything....
There are lot of forum users who don't visit off topic often including myself. And therefore the context in which the quote is made would not be obvious to most !

For most it would appear as a cheap attempt at ridiculing someone for their poor English, which in the time I have been visiting this forum is not what it is about.

Anyway, I will be interested to be educated on the context.

A bit off-topic, but the man that Bradman is performing a headlock on in the first picture happens to be Jim Deakin, a middleweight wrestling champion of that time.

YESS !!

He has tons of records.

1. The only wicket keeper with 100 or more first class centuries (102)

2. The world record number of first class stumpings (415, HR Butt is next with 291)

3. 37,245 first class runs

4. The highest number of keepers dismissals in one season (128 in 1929) He got 100 a season three times. No one has done it since 1964 !!

5. Most stumpings in a season. 64 in 1932. With 52 in 1928, he is the only keeper to hve 50 plus stumpings a year ever !

6. During an entire series against South Africa, he conceded just one bye for every 275 deliveries recieved (36, 6 ball overs).

7. Made 3000 runs in one season, 2000 runs another 5 times, 1000 runs on 17 occasions !

8. A keepers double of 1000 runs and 100 dismissals in a season, three times. It has been done only once by anyone else !

9. record 8th wicket partnership for all tests with Gubby Allen of 246.

10. Scored 123 before lunch in a test match. The first and I think the only wicket keeper to do this.

11. Won the trophy for the fastest century of the year twice.

Some cricketer this guy

BoyBrumby: does the pic date from before WW2? ....YES :)
FaaipDeOiad : Are they Australian? ....NO

PS We will relax the rules slightly. Individuals can ask more than one question but not more than 15 question in all before we move to the pure hint and guess work stage.
