i read somewhere that muller retired from first class cricket, then made a comeback and it was after this that he made his test debut. and then went on to disappear back into obscurity. is that right?

and i reckon he has copped a raw deal, he didn't do too much wrong in his match/es for aus.

He retired when he was made 12th man for Queensland during the 1997 (I think) shield final where we beat W.A. in Perth.

He then returned the next season or the season after at the insistance of the selectors, and then impressed Mark Taylor (which is rare for a Qlder) and toured Zimbabwe and later made his test debut against Pakistan in Brisbane.

    I'm Green

The color of immortality, nature and envy - you are truly a unique person. While clearly the color of nature, you also symbolize rebirth, fertility and hope in the world. On the other side of the spectrum, a natural aptitude to money with green coming to signify money and possibly even *********!

That's being a bit kind to Peter McIntyre, Shaun Young & Paul Wilson.
Hey man, don't knock Blocker. He was injured after bowling about 10 overs in his Test debut, remember? He was a very decent ODI bowler for a couple of seasons.

No, it was "John" the cameraman and it got attributed to Warne.
Which gave the whole thing a massive publicity stunt and caused people to say "Muller = worst player ever to play for Australia" when he was simply merely ordinary like so many others.

So Paul Wilson didn't deserve his selection?
I only ever saw him bowl once and that was when he was an old man, but still... he looked like he'd been a very fine bowler once.

    Yes it was.

How many other times have you ever heard a cameraman say something on a live broadcast of any sport let alone cricket?

Funny that there are worse bowlers than Bracken playing international cricket then.

how many of those are there i really wonder?
and even if there are worse bowlers thann bracken around, it doesnt change the fact that there are probably better bowlers in domestic cricket of that country.
