marc71178 - President and founding member of AAAS - we don't only appreciate when he does well, but also when he's not quite so good!

Anyone want to join the Society?

Beware the evils of Kit-Kats - they're immoral apparently.

They weren't throwing bottles really, just bottle tops. Was no real chance of causing any harm to McGrath so it was quite funny really.

Symonds is in hot form and Martyn isn't too bad (though has failed against NZ the past 4 times) however Katich is rubbish unless he comes in higher, and Clarke's a bit hot-and-cold of late. Let's hope they get Hopes in for katich quick smart.
Spoken through Queensland eyes i dare say? lol... The day hopes plays for Asutralia in a ODI will be a sad day for Australian Cricket... Katich has saved Australia on more than a couple of occasions, lets not be too hasty in giving him the flick...

Does anyone think Marshall will get a Test berth?

    I think he deserves it.

Actually I've been away all week and will be all next and some of the week after, so haven't had time to pick a side this time!

I agree. Has shown he's a good bat in tests and has played 9 innings for you guys and has played reasonably well in some of them. Strike rate up near 80. Maybe you should give him a chance. Funny to hear an Australian complain about Golden Boy Clarke too.

To be honest I can't see any player in World Cricket who could achieve that feat.

Maybe, he has shown some ability at that level already (although admittedly in only two innings, 40* vs SA and 69 against Bangladesh).

Certainly is a very good ODI batsman, averaging around 40 and he has played over 30 games now.

I still don't see how it's funny to throw things at the players.

What if they get injured - is that funny?

Kallis would be my best bet, thats ofcourse if he had an extraodinary game with the ball (which doesnt seem likely really)
