Another dominating series win. NZ are a solid team and try hard but lack the pure class needed to beat such a great team.

Good chance for NZ now there are two dead rubbers on offer.![]()

Very impressed with Lee today, showed them who's boss.
Aggressive and lethal and intimidating the batsmen with great bowling.
Good on McCullum reacting that way after the beamer from Brett Lee.
Razzaq bowled a beamer to Lee in the VB series, and Lee went beserk. And when he was bowling to Razzaq later in the game, he deliberatly bowled a beamer at him, and it was quite clear it wasn't unintentional.
GO THE BLACK CAPS!!!
Ask the NZ players and McCullum in particular if he meant to do it. He's bowled so many in his career now that it's obvious that he gets a rush of blood to the head. This time he tried to disguise it by apologising.Originally Posted by benchmark00
Razzaq bowled two beamers. Of course they were both unintentional because he's not Australian, but Lee being Australian his beamers have to be intentional dont they.Originally Posted by Ming

Top performance by the Australians again. Katich, Clarke, Hussey, Lee, Gillespie and Symonds were all quite brilliant at one point or another in the match, and Kasper and Hogg did a fair job with the ball as well. Certainly looks to be a significant gap between 1 and 2 in the world now in ODIs, let's see how close England get in the tests.
I guess now that Aus have won the series and there is nothing to blame on the umpires you will vent your spleen on Lee.Originally Posted by Fiery

Only Hamish Marshall and Daniel Vettori have impressed in this ODI series so far. Cairns has been expensive with the ball, and finding no form with the bal whatsoever. The top order haven't given us good starts, and we have found ourselves in a situation like 40/2 from 15 overs too many times. McMillan has only fired once, while Sinclair offered us nothing in at 3.
Our pace bowling lineup is a major worry. Our opening bowlers offer us nothing at the top, except give Australia a ripper of start like 60/1 from 10 overs. I would replace Mills with Wilson. Tuffey has been absolute crap so far, stop this **** about calling him Mr Reliable please.
We should keep Michael Papps and James Marshall in the team, and hopefully Scott Styris is available. If he is fit, I would replace McMillan with him. Tuffey has to get the chop, and hopefully Adams is not the man to replace him.
Bring Lance Hamilton I say, he is mature at 31, and is in form, unlike Tuffey or Mills. I would open the bowling with Cairns and Hamilton. At least in Cairns, we would have someone who "can" be accurate. Man, do we miss Jacob Oram.
My ODI XI next game:
1 Stephen Fleming (c)
2 Michael Papps
3 Nathan Astle
4 Scott Styris
5 Hamish Marshall
6 James Marshall
7 Chris Cairns
8 Brendon McCullum+
9 Daniel Vettori
10 Jeff Wilson
11 Lance Hamilton
