Where in Gods name would you play him ? On the wing ? BWAHAHAHAH, I'm sure Sony Bill might have a few things to curb that "passion"

I'd play him at lock.

He is not the first Qld player (or person associated with the Qld team) to have an interest in Rugby League. Bennett King played for the Gold Coast Seagulls, Andy Bichel played junior rugby league for Qld, Jimmy Maher where's the number 6 in honour of former Canterbury 5/8 Terry Lamb & Micheal Kasprowicz's brother plays rugby union for N.S.W.

Hmmmm, Travis Norton will slaughter him at Lock(he was at lock for the last origin wasn't he ?) especially if he had intentions to play Origin.

Surely you can't just "decide" to be a first grade footy player, and judging by his comments he obviously wanted to aspire to Origin level, come on its the highest standard of league in the world, dreams or no dreams it sounds like he was having a big sook due to the lack of interest his name was comanding amongst CA.

Cheers

It wouldn't be easy to make the change, but not impossible, he is an elite athlete afterall. He would have been training full time with cricket, so there wouldn't be much in the way of fitness and strength, he would just have to learn new skills. Symonds is a gifted athlete.
