It will be a great spectacle if Pakistan won and I hope for cricket's sake that they do but I doubt it.

I'd be stunned if Pakistan score more than 400 runs - both innings combined - in any of the three Test Matches. Their batting - on Australian soil - will be a little less than awful.

perhaps if shoaib akhtar finally performs consistently throughout a series, or if they uncover an extremely good pace bowler, if kaneria bowls as well as he can and if certain batsman especially yasir hameed fulfils his potential.
Tendulkar = the most overated player EVER!!
Beckham = the most overated footballer EVER!!
Vassell = the biggest disgrace since rikki clarke!!

let's forget test match let's come down to odi' do you think pakistan has the ability to beat any team' the have done it before the have beating aussie's in couple of occasion's in there home soil and out side' so which team has more all rounder's is it aussie's or pakistan' feel free to abuse one of both or both teams

    i hate aussie's

personally i hope aussies get hammered, its simply for the good of cricket of course and i usually like the underdogs to win anyways. as far as ODIs are concerned, pakistan can beat them on their day, personally though i doubt that they will unless someone in the pakistani side comes up with something absolutely brilliant or they get on the better of totally unfair conditions.

In onedayer pakistsan might win a match or two against Australia (provided they play extremely well) , thats all they will achieve.

And Pakisstan might have allrounders BUT Austraalia have better specialist batsmen and bowlers which iss more important!

Yes, we can beat 'em in ODI's.

Now Tests are another matter all togather...

    Nope.

The current Pakistan side is not a patch on the sides Pakistan fielded during
the nineties --- the bowling is heavily reliant on Akhtar and the batting looks brittle.

If Pakistan's batsmen can conjure up a decent score and if Akhtar fires, Pakistan may beat Australia in a test match.

However, its more likely that (barring no rain), Australia will win the series and win fairly comfortably.
