Probably Australia when they prepare those fast, bouncy pitches. Probably India when they play at Chennai and Eden Gardens and get 100,000 odd people behind them and when they prepare spinning tracks perfect for Anil Kumble/Harbhajan Singh.

But Australia for me.

Well Australia did have a 35 year drought in India that they just broke. Not many teams beat us at home.....

australia don't win just because of any home advantage....they win because they are simply the best...home and away.....i would say india or sri lanka.....in fact i would say india edges out sri lanka in this regard...

India

Reason: Just look at the home (57 Win / 94 Draws / 45 Lost) v away (21 Win / 80 Draws / 81 Lost) % wins, home advantage must be doing something for them.

I'd say India because they are generally less than mediocre outside of India. The Indian team is suited to Indian conditions, whereas I think Sri Lanka's team offers a little bit more (than their Indian counterparts) in varied conditions.

The West Indies have done it a number of times, England surely have done it before, South Africa have I think in 1992/93, but in the recent past Australia have been close to perfect.

The South Africans haven't beaten the Aussies in a series since their re-inclusion. They drew that series in '92/93.

Otherwise from that, you're quite right, and growing up in the 70's and 80's, I saw us beaten quite a bit at home. NZ did us as well.
