So you can say for certain that Warne and McGrath would have made the difference can you? Utter tripe.

I say Australia missed McGrath and India missed Warne so it evens itself out really. But no one can say for sure.

Yeah, you're probably right... but its completely irrelevant from what was said. That team was still representing Australia, and thus India came 'close' to defeating Australia at home.

You can't just pick and choose when and when not it's the 'real Australia'.
