incredible, i didnt realise Lehmans average was in the 50's...
I mean whats incredible is that he could be dropped while having that average...

We will never know if this list is accurate but it is the best measure we have of this. It's nice to see some of the real oldies in there that scored really fast.

I am amazed at Jessop's career strike rate of 112. He didnt make the list only because of the minimum 1000 career test runs criteria. He must have been something else.
Wonder what Constantine's strike rate was ? |

The other amazing thing here is Bradman's figures. One new he scored very quickly but to have a confirmation that he averaged 99.94 and had a strike rate higher than the Raving Kalu and the Boisterous Botham is still mind boggling. This when he hardly ever resorted to hitting sixes !!
