    Pathan to miss 3rd Test

I think it will make a big difference in India's bowling and possibly a few runs from the tail they might need

It is disappointing but he has not done much in the series so far, the spinners have to ability to take care of things.

He will be a big loss to India. He got 55 in the 1st test, one of India's few run-scorers then.

His bowling was also very good.

    He will be missed.

In the batting department, Pathan has proven he is an allround cricketer who is essential to the team, so saying he has not done much is wrong. He has also been bowling quite well in the current series and possibly has been the best quick bowler for India for the series. Zaheer is really the only competition in the bowling stakes, but has not done anything to date in the Australian series

Pathan's batting was more crucial, given present form. He has been short of wickets, though.

Thats because Ganguly only bowled him and Zaheer for a short time and then it was the Kumble and Singh Show for the rest of the day, till the new ball!

But it is sad to see him out of the 3rd Test. He has alot of fire in him and gets the reverse swing going.
