    Pitch idea for sports teacher

    Hi,
I have a sports teacher in France who would like to teach cricket to her pupils. She has a well-cut and fairly flat football ground to use. Since grass does not provide good and consistent bounce, she wants to know what she can lay on the ground as a pitch.
Do you guys have any idea?

    Roughly a 1000 USD

Don't think you'll find anything cheaper and worth the money unfortunately.

Thanks Daemon for your suggestion. But this is not going to be possible. The mat is quite heavy and the ground is about 200 meters from the school building. So a lot of time will be lost trying to do and undo the mat.

Flicx isn't great on soft soil and natural grass anyways. Better suited for AstroTurf.

I've dealt with this problem before. A lot depends on the age of kids playing, what kind of ball they're using, and what the condition of the grass/soil is. You won't need an artificial playing surface if the surface is well kept and all you're doing is playing with a rubber/plastic ball with kids aged 13 or younger.

The kids are aged 12 and will be playing with plastic balls. But to get a regular bounce, we can't rely on the grass field.

They all said "Hallo," and felt awkward and unhappy suddenly, because it was a sort of good-bye they were saying, and they didn't want to think about it.

Just get a roller and roll the pitch at night when nobody is looking.
