Judging a skier.

Hi I'm club cricketer and having trouble judging skiers. I often find myself unable to accurately judge where I should be to settle under the ball. Any tips?

Practice?

It's one of those things that's sort of instinctual and you need your brain to get used to. Just use a tennis ball or something and practice. You'll eventually learn how to read it and get under it.

Stay where you are until you've worked out where the ball is going - it's surprising how much time you have, and running and changing direction damages the confidence and makes you look a prat
