Artificial Match Pitches

Hi

Wondering if anyone has used either of these artificial match pitches?

Looking at the options but would really like to hear opinions about them

Flicx Match Pitch
Or
Powerplay Instant Cricket System

Flicx is deceptive.

Alot of preparation needs to go in before you can use it. You need to cut the turf, roll the ground so it's compact with no air underneath. Then you need the root system to grow and attach itself to the bottom of the surface.

Our club bought two for our junior club and the people who purchased it thought it was just a roll out and play arrangement. Turns out you have to have it down for the whole season or more.

Thanks Benchmark. Don't suppose you have heard anything about the powerplay instant pitch?

Our club had been using Flicx for past decade but dropped it for this season. Nobody wants to carry it 200 m over to the pitch and then back as its bloody heavy + nobody wants to unroll/roll it before and after every match + no interest in nailing it to the ground...

Yeah pretty sucks when its not permanent placement. As for gameplay experience I cant compare becuase we have either flicx or plain (though cut and rolled) grass field strip

Thanks

Don't suppose you have used the powerplay instant pitch system? Seems like the way we will go, but also seems very new so no-one else has tried it
