How to hit a great 6!

School Boy/Girl Captain
DO NOT TRY TO PLAY THIS SHOT WHEN THE BALL IS BOUNCING LOW.
Only play this shot on a bowl with a high bounce. The ball will not travel to the boundary if the ball bounces low.
When the ball is traveling wait to check the ball is bouncing high. After the bounce step on to the back foot and play the pull shot. When you play the pull shot angle your bat slightly up. You don't always have to swing at the ball. If it is a fast bowler just change the direction of the ball to the boundary. If it is a slow bowler you might have to swing at the ball. I recommend :nono:NOT:nono: playing this shot on a spin bowler as you could get bowled out.
Practice this shot in the nets then out on a field where you can see how far your shots are travelling. Do not play this shot in a match without any practice as you could get caught out or stumped.
Be careful when playing this shot if there is a fielder is at square leg (very likely) if you mis-time the shot you could get caught out.
REMEBER TO PRACTICE:laugh:8-)
