Tamim's 100 gets Bangladesh to 219/2 from 33 overs against Pakistan. Massive.

Edit: And he goes the next ball.

Bangladesh looked to be on course for 375+ after 40 or so overs. Pakistan have actually pulled things back rather well, only 6 RPO in the last 5-6 overs.

I was not entirely convinced of Ashraf's selection for the medium pace all rounder's spot. Would have prefered Amir Yamin myself and he had better number in the domestic ODI tournament but boy did Ashraf make it count big time.

This does throw up a few selection dilemmas for Pakistan.

Azhar
Shehzad
Babar
Hafeez
Malik
Sarfraz
Shadab
Imad
Fahim
Hassan
Junaid/Amir

5 bowlers with Fahim the third seamer might be a risk. So that means they'll have to unsettle the top 6, something they don't really want to do and then go with

Hafeez
Shehzad
Babar
Malik
Sarfraz
Shadab
Imad
Fahim
Hassan
Amir
Junaid

But that means you play 1 less specialist batsman.

You finally agreed. Glad I managed to convince at least person from the "Sabbir is a number 3" camp
If Shabbir bats down then I'm not entirely sure about who is going to play at #3. Mosaddek all his life batted mostly middle/ middle lower and he got what it takes to succeed at #3 but maybe its a big ask now for him atm. They should have tried him earlier. Mullah himself is not comfortable there. That leaves Mushfiq as a valid option. So Mosaddek at #4, shakib #5, Mullah #6, Shabbir #7

Yea I want Shabbir to bat lower too. Asking Mushy to captain, keep and bat 3 too is a bit too much tho. Maybe get Moses up there. He's young and talented and will adapt.

Brilliant. Now all our batsmen have failed and Ronchi will probably start as an opener. Hope they go for Latham over Ronchi and Neesham and CDG over Anderson.
