Andile Phehlukwayo comes in for Wayne Parnell. Good. Would prefer maharaj but at least they made the change.

Safe selection in Lucky. Safe to say very disappointed.

India have lost 7 of last 8 chasing v SAf and the other was a no result. Bizarre stat.

Excellent from South Africa's perspective who don't chase well, let alone in a Knock out
"This is a clash of strategy. And of methods, culture and politics. This is a new-era rivalry. Not as ancient as the Ashes, or as passionate as India-Pakistan. Two countries that are so different, yet share rampant egotism, high self-opinion and a belief that being born in their country is superior to other births. This brings together a belligerent bunch of brats, bullies and braggers."- Jarrod Kimber

We couldn't defend 320 against SL. We are losing today if we get less than 400.
I am proud of this post.

Dry pitch could mean some potential reverse. India gonna miss Shami/Yadav. Would have picked one of them at least in place of Bumrah

Best thing for SA losing the toss. Hopefully De Kock does not stink it up as he is usually very good against India

The Oval, a flat deck, is difficult for the Indian side, whose bowling struggles on flat decks. Yet the Indian team goes in with three bowlers- the main reason they lost the last game.

At least one of Pandya and Jadeja should have been benched- yet these two may end up bowling 20 overs. It's anybody's guess how much the South Africans will score off them.

Amla run out % must be pretty high.

Apparently not. All-round records | One-Day Internationals | Cricinfo Statsguru | ESPN Cricinfo

But he always seems to give chances.....
