I genuinely rate our 'a' team as better than the actual team atm, both in 4 day and one day cricket.

would be an interesting stat if anyone knows how many times a team has scoreed 200+ in the last 20 overs of an ODI?

Bookies seem to be in the furball camp though, England have moved into 1/2 favourites

7 off that over with basically no risk at all

It's almost as though having well set batsmen at the crease is valuable

There's certainly nothing wrong with his List A record.
Then why hasn't he been in the side more often before? Hell, Dan Christian got a go for a while. I find it very strange that for the CT (which we should be taking seriously) he has suddenly been drafted in.

No-ones said we want sixes. We want intent, and they'd just started to show that. Until the last 5 overs, they'd been batting too slowly.

Played Jonathan. Get in, scratch around, score at way under a run a ball, and get out. Probably boosted his 'ranking' though, and that's all that matters.

No disrespect to the boy Root, but surely Morgan should have been promoted in this situation.
