Haha, surely not even NZ can lose it from here. It's mental that SL only have Herath & Dishan ...I don't get it.

Man, what the sri lankans must be thinking when they come up against McCullum's bowling. Bet they have spinners like him in club seconds. So effective though :laugh:

Sri Lanka will probably once again pay the price for poor batting and picking only one spinner. Just like the Sydney test where they didn't pick Randiv and they all played stupid shots.

I highly doubt even 3 spinners would have made a difference with just 140 on the board. It may well have if SL got 210+

There aren't enough spinners in the world to defend 140, but I still think it was a selection mistake

Why do left-armers always bowl from such a ridiculous counter-angle when coming around the wicket? Surely must increase injury chances.

If they're not going to actually pick two fronline spinners then picking Thirimanne ahead of Jeevan Mendis definitely makes no sense.

I could understand the thought process in the specialist bowlers they selected, and leaving Senanayake out. but if they did that then Jeevan absolutely had to play.
