Seymour Ashmore - 29 yo, BT Rating=16,697
LH Batsman, LM Bowler. He is a steady player with mediocre leadership skills and wonderful experience.
He currently has superb batting form, mediocre bowling form and sublime fitness.

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: strong Concentration: superb
Bowling: worthless Consistency: feeble
Fielding: competent
for 769K which really does mean my top 5 are a pretty strong line-up, and once my all-rounder finishes his training, all I will need to do is buy another bat and my top 7 will be pretty good :)

Won a Twenty20 match I expected to lose today...glad I went full strength.

Playing Elite Express (who, while having a number of players with much higher ratings than myself, were that fatigued they could hardly stand up in some cases)

Elite Express batted first

Elite Express: 22/10 (Wharrad 7; Anthony 5; Heath 4; Mabudhafasi 6 for 2; Ogrady 3 for 5)
Coco's Nuts: 24/1 (Duncan 21; Farrell 3*; Nkosinathi 0*; Badenhorst 1 for 22)

Good start to the Twenty20, won't win my league but there are some teams I can definitely beat.

Hope my back up bowlers actually take a wicket here

Chips Cheese and Gravy CC won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 7: 48-5, runrate=6.86
Nkosinathi 2-0-17-0
van Schalkwyk * 9 (9 balls)
Molewa 1 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Zafarullah c. Cooper b. Cavanagh 13 (FOW: 43/5)

Its been set up nicely by the only two guys pulling their weight :@

I'm getting hammered.

End of Over 12: 97-1, runrate=8.08
Lay 3-0-18-0
Dipalesa* 64 (44 balls)
O'Toole 30 (26 balls)
Last Wicket: Hughes c. Fletcher b. Britz 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Early wicket had my hopes up, now I'm just hoping to not get completely smashed.

You're going to get some good dough for that 17yo Jake. Didn't want to train him?

EDIT: Still a fine chance of winning your game dude, who are your key batsmen?

I named a very, very understrength team. I have my normal openers, number 3, and keeper. Then my opening bowlers. That's it.

I'd say the top 3 plus Fletcher (keeper) is the key.

End of Over 20: 164-2, runrate=8.20
Jabulile 4-0-41-0
Siyabonga* 19 (14 balls)
Dipalesa 104 (68 balls)
Last Wicket: O'Toole b. Waters 38 (FOW: 127/2)

Chase ain't looking too good.

2nd week in a row he's got out first ball :mad2:
0.1 . van Schalkwyk to Cooper
When bowlers give you that kind of opportunity, you have to take it. Cooper decides otherwise though. Maybe he has some kind of masterplan to implement.

Massive improvement IMO:laugh:

Got hammered yesterday. Did the same to my opposition today, though.

And that's the end of the match. Tawonga Tigers won by 10 wickets.
Polish Kangaroos 42-10
Tawonga Tigers 43-0

Mills with 3-6 the MOTM for mine.

Quick rundown.

Team named for next game.

Newton
Raisani
Mulvaney
Mukhopadhyay
Nissanka
Fletcher
Habens
Waterworth
Waters
Jabulile
Rocastle

Nissanka and Fletcher even for the keeping spot, another trial between them. Keeping the openers because they made some runs last time, and Newton is the captain. Don't really care is I win or lose.

Last 2 games:

Game 1 v essix

Essix 2/164
Dipalesa 104*
Britz 1/19

Killers CC 3/170
Mulvaney 73
Nissanka 68*
Siyabonga 2/41

Game 2 v Godmanchester Spitfires

Killers CC 2/183
Mukhopadhyay 48*
Raisani 47
Mulvaney 45*
Newton 39

Godmanchester Spitfires 3/165
Batt 76
Kleinkramer 44
Waterworth 1/17

Happy with both performances, really going good so far.

Note: I didn't actually enter a line up for the second game, it just used my default.

Was just coming on to complain about the consistency in Battrick...playing a team I thought I could beat and they're going at 11 an over at the moment - they're not as good as the team I bowled out for 22 yesterday, then the Mabudhafasi (the guy who took 6/2 last game) takes his second hattrick for the week

Edit: This guy might actually be in better shape than the guy I played yesterday, he has two good bowlers who are fully fit.

The Yorkshire Tykes: 82-5, runrate=7.45

Just took 14 off an over.

They're now 7 down for 104. 1 hattrick and two other bowlers have taken 2 wickets in 2 balls

Chasing well so far, hopefully these two will finish off...two wickets will kill us - 100-3, runrate=8.33, reqrunrate=2.63 (120-10)

Good win in the end - Nkosinathi finishes off with 6,6...

And that's the end of the match. Coco's Nuts won by 7 wickets.

The Yorkshire Tykes 120-10 (Raisani 66* (48 balls); Mabudahfasi 4 for 28; Wotton 3 for 14)
Coco's Nuts 122-3 (Nkosinathi 57* (37 balls); Duncan 44 (27 balls); Keigher 2 for 4)

We've started the Twenty20 well...easy match tomorrow I think.

Waking up early and losing a bidding war is lame. :(

Wonderful bowler went from 5.6mil to 8.4 this morning.
