International Regular
End of Over 3: 11-2, runrate=3.67
Adri 2-1-6-1
Harvey* 5 (4 balls)
Mukhopadhyay 5 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Fox c. Francois b. Adri 1 (FOW: 5/2)

Mukhopadhyay playing against us for the first time since leaving us, versing my mate who bought him off me.

He's pretty tank now. This guy started before me, but I'm quietly confident I can beat him.

EDIT:

End of Over 4: 30-2, runrate=7.50
Lancashire 2-0-24-1
Harvey* 9 (6 balls)
Mukhopadhyay 20 (6 balls)
Last Wicket: Fox c. Francois b. Adri 1 (FOW: 5/2)

Muka having a crack lmao.

Sorry I didn't reply to your message mate, saw it on Battrick and then forgot to get back to you when I was logged in.

I'm still thinking about it...I have to consult with my player managers and I'll get back to you!

Fillery on, needing to remove Mukhopadhyay and Rocastle/Harvey.

8.5 W Fillery to Harvey
That's clipped Harvey's pad as it goes down the leg side. Harvey can't believe it. He's been given out, caught behind by Francois. What a poor decision.

Bit suspect but I'll take it.

International Regular
End of Over 16: 92-4, runrate=5.75
Paris 4-0-24-1
Mukhopadhyay* 52 (36 balls)
Broomes 0 (1 balls)
Last Wicket: Rocastle lbw b. Paris 20 (FOW: 92/4)

Now we just have to knock over Mukhopadhyay and we'll roll them for 150 odd.

Jakester1288

International Regular
Ah good.

End of Over 30: 157-4, runrate=5.23
Joyce 7-1-32-0
Mukhopadhyay* 78 (69 balls)
Broomes 38 (52 balls)
Last Wicket: Rocastle lbw b. Paris 20 (FOW: 92/4)

I don't know how Broomes is doing so well, but he's doing a top job of supporting Mukhopadhyay and getting them to a respectable score here.

And if they follow the rule of double what you have after 30, I'm in huge trouble.

EDIT: Right on cue, Broomes dismissed by Joyce.

End of Over 38: 195-6, runrate=5.13
Lancashire 7-1-45-2
Mukhopadhyay* 109 (96 balls)
Davies 4 (5 balls)
Last Wicket: Muwalo lbw b. Lancashire 0 (FOW: 191/6)

Can't believe I sold Muka in my n00b days, when I got worried as soon as I got in debt.

End of Over 44: 211-7, runrate=4.80
Paris 9-0-51-1
Mukhopadhyay* 124 (110 balls)
Phindile 0 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Davies lbw b. Fillery 4 (FOW: 204/7)
43.6 . Paris to Phindile
Oh dear! There was a thin nick on that and Francois's dropped it! Paris looks very unhappy about that.

Ah, dropped catches shown in blue. Good to see.

Also not surprised my resp keeper dropped that. Lucky I'm training up another keeper for use in 2 or so seasons.

Jakester1288

International Regular
End of Over 50: 242-9, runrate=4.84
Lancashire 10-1-59-2
Mukhopadhyay* 144 (123 balls)
Sotho 2 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Michael c. Francois b. Adri 3 (FOW: 234/9)

Mukhopadhyay guides them to a reasonably good score in the end.

Shouldn't have a problem chasing, but he has some decent bowlers.

Jakester1288

International Regular
End of Over 19: 80-1, runrate=4.21, reqrunrate=5.26 (242-9)
Muwalo 3-0-17-0
Siems* 37 (49 balls)
Mulvaney 10 (9 balls)
Last Wicket: Hughes b. Phindile 32 (FOW: 62/1)

Doing well here. Muwalo is a wonderful, so Mulvaney is batting 3 to try to counter him out, you could say, as he prefers the spinners.

Siems out, Vidale in. Unfortunately no time for him to ton today :p

no worries, coco. i had wondered if carl might be open to a move back to nz. so let me know what his agent thinks. despite a shock loss yesterday i'm on track to move up to I.1 in NZ next season. carl will no doubt play a key role in the side.

Mulvaney* 19 (30 balls)
Mchugh 0 (2 balls)
Last Wicket: Fillery b. Muwalo 0 (FOW: 105/4)

****, Muwalo strikes twice including Vidale in that over. Now we need a run a ball.

Mulvaney* 55 (68 balls)
Francois 1 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Paris b. Sotho 29 (FOW: 172/6)

Went with the wrong tactics I'd say, needed another bowler or two up the order with my bats lower down. And Mulvaney aggressive, perhaps.

And that's the end of the match. NSWdemons won by 49 runs.
NSWdemons 242-9
Killers CC 193-10

End of Over 47: 193-10, runrate=4.11
Davies 8-0-39-2
Francois* 9 (16 balls)

Tail collapsed, far out, thought I was going to win.

Show's how much I rely on Vidale against good opposition.
