Lost my first two games in my OD league so far which is pretty dissapointing. The problem in my side is that I am to reliant on 3 or 4 players to perform, half my side is too **** to play good in division 4.

I haven't got a spinner in my team at the moment, I'm looking for a 19/20yo spinner who is around quality/remarkable stats. How much do you reckon that would cost?

Hammered the only team I thought might have a decent game against in OD and won easily yesterday. Hopefully will have a couple of more decent players for Div IV next season.

Am struggling in FC though, played my first XI twice so far and lost by heaps.

nah, I meant that's all I got today. Seems as if all my trainees have been stuck on Strong for their primaries for ages. Roll on next week.

Yes, he one of your players? If so would he close to popping in bowling and consistency?

Won my cup game aswell, got a tough game though next week in the cup but I may be able to beat him. I also had a concentration pop and a fielding one, meh.

He's mine, bit away from bowling but cons should be soon.

Out of the cup. Yay.
Same, GFI'd hoping to win, but lost by over 100. Better for my team, anyway.

You going to sell him soon? If so, then I would really like to buy him. How much money would you want for him? I've helped you out before :p

Haha. No intentions on selling him anytime soon. No where near even finished training, he's going to be my star player if all goes to plan.

Will sell if in desperate needs for money, or he gets out of hand, though.

Fair enough, it shouldn't be too hard to find a player on the market like him though.

How much would it cost for a remarkable/quality spinner who is around 19/20 years of age and still trainable?

Could probably save up for a wonderful but that might take a while.

Lmao shut up.

How far you plan on training him? He gunna be a second XIer, or trained to sell, or play firsts?

Robertinho

Cricketer Of The Year
Had a so-so start to the season, won 1 lost 1 in both FC and OD. The FC was worrying, given I have no clue how it happened. I'm through to Round 4 of the cup as well with a fairly easy match-up. I might look at getting fairly far into the Cup. could do with the money & haven't gotten far ever really. I've also been shaking up my team, selling Busby:

Everett Busby - 24 yo, BT Rating=91,099, Wage=£46,695
A steady RH batsman and a steady RF bowler. He has abysmal leadership skills and quality experience. He has no preference and no trait.
He currently has superb batting form, strong bowling form and invigorated fitness.

Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: exquisite Consistency: sensational
Fielding: strong

who is now at £8.1mil (sells in about 26 hours), and bought this guy for £10.1mil:

Dilawar Salhan - 23 yo, BT Rating=103,975, Wage=£71,105
A steady RH batsman and a steady RFM bowler. He has respectable leadership skills and phenomenal experience. He has no preference and no trait.
He currently has strong batting form, woeful bowling form and low fitness.

Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: wonderful Concentration: strong
Bowling: masterful Consistency: exceptional
Fielding: strong

Thinking I may try and put him on either 1 batting or 1 batting & 1 fielding. Depends if I find the room but I think the step from say, wonderful/strong to exceptional/remarkable is considerable, and would ensure that when he's say, 28 or 29, I still get a good price for him. I just wish his cons was a couple of levels higher. Still, hopefully he becomes the wicket-taker Busby never has been. I am really liking the shape of my team at the moment, I have batsmen down to #9 (and my #10 is a comp/comp specialist bat - only because I have no one better), lowest is a superb/remarkable and 7 are above remarkable. Bowling is touch and go, but once Hulse, who's 21 and rem/sup bowling, steps up to actually being a threat and I draft in a wonderful specialist bowler to cop some PFL hits, it will be far more potent. Only specialist bowler atm is Appleyard as well, and I intend to keep him till the bitter end. A 23yo sens/exc is handy because he can bowl a lot and although he'd fetch a nice price ATM I think he's too valuable.

It depends on how much Busby sells for, but presently it's looking likely that I'll have ~3-4mil left in the bank once he goes, so when Hulse pops in batting and bowling (to rem/exc and wond/sup respectively) I'll consider selling him, buying a finished product who is a year or two older and possibly training someone new. Have to wait and see on Busby though.

He's there to be our 5th bowler really. Up until then it was a mature respectable who was our 5th, and he can't be carried any further. I'm not interested in buying any gun trainees and creating a superstar, so I'll probably train him up to a serviceable level then maybe think about concentrating on an all-rounder.

Pretty nice as a bowler, perhaps an allrounder. Shame about the keeping being so high, will add a bit to the wages.

Don't want him though. Don't have the money or the nets.
