My team is fairly temperamental. Not sure whose going to turn up

Crap I have to play in England, can't even watch my game. Though I don't have work the next day.

ftr, don't worry about including my side this season, trevor. i've sold a lot of my side recently to begin a long rebuilding phase for whenuapai cc. a rebuilding phase based around my 4 trainees for now. anyone been following grady allison? he has come on leaps and bounds really.

only one of my stars remains now, probably the finest batsmen to grace the cricketweb cup, 4 time new zealand international, jason duggan. hmm, i just need to decide whether or not to sell or keep this great man mountain of an individual. i've already got a bank balance overflowing at 58,000,000, while i did ponder that 70+ would like strikingly handsome, just imo

i'll be back next season. hopefully in the interim, anchormen can finally get the job done, ffs.

Alternative XI V Anchormen (On)
Pontif's XI V Cymru Gurgitaters (On)

Group B.
Kipper XI V Boggles (No word from either party, told Cameeel onus is on him to sort it)
Oz Fans XI V Beard XI (On)

Group C.
Victoria Panthers V Four Pillars and Poor Fillers (On)
Opening Balance V Lancashire (On)

Group D.
Got Spin V Withington Wonderers (On)
Swamibapa Leeds CC V Jaffna Jets (On)

Group E.
Tawonga Tigers V Magical Ponies (On)
Best Indies V Connells Estates CC (On)

Great effort lads, only Cameeel and Pete letting the side down on Thursday morning. Later, Trev

PS, Smith, you come in at the Repechage round, which will be 4th Jan. You have to play off for a QF spot against one of the three best 2nd place sides from the groups.
PPS, No worries Nibbs, look forward to seeing your rejuvenated side next term - And don't sell Duggan, you'll regret it in the long-run. Look at Adam, sold Cuss, lost that personal investment in his side, and now he's drifting away from the game altogether. At risk of revealing exactly how sad I am, I think everyone needs at least a handful of players in your side who you genuinely care about - Who's personal lives are the subjects of your lavatory download pondering time. If they simply become binary means to a virtual end, then you'll soon lose the will to lavish such a ridiculously inordinate amount of your employer's time on them.

PPPS, Sorry to Zac, and Nath, that you couldn't get in this season. If I'd known in advance how few entries there'd be, I could have pushed the start back a week or two, but I was keen to get it done and dusted before people had to start thinking about the sharp end of their BT league campaigns.

Shouldn't Nath come in for Nibbs then? Would make sense.

And thanks for the info, Trev.

True. Very very true.

Speaking from Hattrick, which I played long enough to go through two cycles of team-building, there's just nothing like the first time. The first crop of players you nurtured, the first (not-so-)superstars you bought. It'll be with great sadness that I retire any one of my super seven first-batch trainees.
