Yeah, state/province cricket would add an extra interesting dimension. Have never been overly keen on being a NAT manager, but wouldn't mind having a go at managing a state side.

The PFL thing would have a massive impact on club managers of NT players, especially one still getting trained or all rounders. For NT managers PFL aren't generally a major issue as you can just rotate the squad and play trainees on Wesdesday. But for club managers the players come back and by Friday they are still a knacked. Even if you rested them for FC, Cup and Friendly matches. Basically they are useless at club level with the current system. State/Provincials would be nice. But unless they sort out PFL issues. Then all it would mean is more players will just be knacked as alot of those players will still be getting trained. Though the real sad thing is that if i read the weekly calender right. They are just going to reduce NT matches from two per week to one.

Well obviously the state system couldn't come in without the seperate PFL for rep matches.

Smith at least has valid things to rant about, Scaly would just get pissed everytime his best bowler went for more than 3 an over or if his best bat scored less than 150.

Woo, finally:
Gregg Mullis - 22 yo, BT Rating=71,713 LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, superb batting form, proficient bowling form, energetic fitness. A defensive player with mediocre leadership skills and respectable experience. Stamina: superb Wicket Keeping: woeful Batting: worthless Concentration: feeble Bowling: sensational Consistency: sensational Fielding: feeble Also had the best OD game on Friday against league favourites and Div 1 FC side Trackters, even though I didn't find out the result until today: Anchormen 170ao from 46.3 overs Shaw 50 Dugdale 43* Pugh 4/23 Raven 4/31 Trackters 123ao from 37.2 overs Raisani 34 Dyke 5/22 Anchormen win by 47 runs MOTM: Dyke (0 & 5/22) That puts me 2 games clear after he lost in spectacular fashion last week. And yes, that is NT Pugh (£187,431 p/w wages) and Raisani (£107,153 p/w). Pugh took my entire top four... so yes, that is an elite top order, with only Shaw making double figures. Haha, IMO, a big 'take that' to Dyke's doubters is in order, ie Tharmi. Solid ratings too: Anchormen Top Order: elite Middle Order: superb Lower Order: abysmal Seam Bowling: exquisite Spin Bowling: masterful Fielding: mediocre Would have wins in every game except 1 Cup this season except for an annoying FC draw last week... my main men just didn't fire. Got a big game tomorrow and then a reasonably tough one on Friday so I just need my PFL to hold until then.
