Buck's XI finally got promoted from my league, replaced by The Owls, who also look a fair bit better than me.

Two pops. I'm not sure how to check my wages though. Finances still says the same amount, though obviously it should update for next week. Finally remembered to change my team name to what I originally meant it to be this off-season as well. 50,000 well spent.

Nick Pietersen - 19 yo, BT Rating=31,497

Wage updates weren't too bad. Watkins up to 87k from 63k, Downer 69k from 52k and Ashton 35k from 27k, no really big movements otherwise. Total wage bill is about 295k but could go up by a lot once I've bought in some new players.

BARNES OUT
Two good pops and two training schemes end.

Code:
Alex Munroe - 22 yo, BT Rating=31,581

A cautious player with abysmal leadership skills and mediocre experience.
Stamina: 	competent 	Wicket Keeping: 	worthless
Batting: 	wonderful 	Concentration: 	[B]strong[/B]
Bowling: 	worthless 	Consistency: 	respectable
Fielding: 	feeble
Code:
Premalal Seneviratne - 21 yo, BT Rating=27,627

They'll both probs get stamina training in the future, but no more primary training.

Dylan: 		£4,007	to 	£10,031		(jump of 6024)

Ouch.

Erk, i'll be struggling to get 5th or 6th in OD's this season. I really need to get another all-rounder but i'm afaird 2.5m won't be near enough to get a decent allrounder that would improve my team.

Thinking of listing Walton for 600k? (higher/lower?)

Rocky Walton - 21 yo, BT Rating=8,457
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, sublime
A defensive player with feeble leadership skills and woeful experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: mediocre
Batting: mediocre Concentration: woeful
Bowling: proficient Consistency: feeble
Fielding: worthless

Some big jumps:

Mullis -> £5,635
Mulholland -> £9,732
Bhutia -> £21,200
Mcmillan -> £29,280
Gray -> £34,959

Looks like my wages will be up around £140k. Not that bad, considering Gray has stopped his training and Mcmillan is close.

Only the one big jump for me...

Gedye, 7979-> 18, 348
and a myriad of other players who I've been training here and there.

It's a very sad day at the SD XI training camp, where Pallav Singh, 34, Second highest wicket taker for the club, and captain for 94 matches has gone into voluntary retirement. His best figures were 5-45.

I assume you're talking BT20 cup?
Nope, I had a cup fixture when I logged on in the morning. By the time I went on again at school during my free period at about 9:30, it was gone.

Edit: Turns out this was the same cup draw from last season, which I'm assuming is why it got taken off.

Just the one pop today btw:

Philip King	$2,024	$5,201
Ed Shafilshuna	$1,038	$1,870
That's a difference of approximately 19 K after the update, so that's not bad.

This new season i will be in Division IV, which means that i will be lucky to be in the 5th place by the end of the season. Will need a very good batsmen, but with around 2mil in the bank to spare after my 1.6 mil savings for interest it will be a hard task.

Got a decent league this season, four decent sides and three average sides but their not bots. Might hang around in Div 3 if things are fairly competitive.

Woo, my first remarkable anything:

1. Liam Bromby - 20 yo, BT Rating=39,031
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, superb batting form, superb bowling form, invigorated
A cautious player with woeful leadership skills and mediocre experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: quality
Batting: strong Concentration: remarkable
Bowling: abysmal Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: worthless

Looking forward to making my first ever ITS pull today (it is some time today we can make 'em, right?). Hoping for a respectable spin bowler; betting on a wicketkeeping fast bowler with abysmal stamina.

Just the one pop today:

11. Danny Woods (1274220)
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, superb batting form, strong bowling form, fresh
A steady player with mediocre leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: worthless Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: respectable Consistency: competent
Fielding: abysmal

Gone into a different league than the one that was predicted on the England sledging board. Not sure if I'll survive in this one, it looks like it'll be quite competitive at the bottom of the table but I'm probably the weakest team. Will be looking to profit from other teams getting distracted by FC games.

Stamina: proficient Wicket Keeping: abysmal

Jason Spencer - 19 yo, BT Rating=9,763

I'll be selling Spencer in a couple of weeks if anyone is interested. I strongly suspect his stamina is high mediocre, so he should have competent stamina by the time I come to list him.

How much are you hoping to get for him?

I've just shelled out £1M on a Strong/Mediocre defensive spinner -- Feeble stamina and fielding, plus he's 26 years old. Above market value? Perhaps, but he should hit Resp consistency without too much training. Decided I needed a second spinner for FC matches.

Little bit below market value if anything, with competent stamina I'd hope to get not far off £2m. I should get £1m for Tynan if I decide to sell him.

Are there usually this many problems at the beginning of a new season, or is it because of the introduction of FC? I got put in a new league today, but now it's gone back to how things were at the end of last season, with me at the top of my Div VI league.

Osman to superb batting the only pop. Listed for a fairly modest 3.8m. Whitehorne's form and BTR dropping like a stone, feeble bowling and proficient batting form.
