How things went yesterday.

BEST Indies 343/4 (50.0)

End of Over 28: 134-2, runrate=4.79
Khanya 4-1-19-0
Harris* 63 (81 balls)
Appleyard 13 (26 balls)
Last Wicket: Ludlow c. Hutchinson b. Anthony 36 (FOW: 92/2)

Batting first against Victoria Panthers, game is probably evenly poised atm. Would imagine I'll need 250+ to negate Bertos.

End of Over 34: 166-1, runrate=4.88
Hennessy 7-0-31-0
Abbey* 73 (115 balls)
Read 86 (87 balls)

Batting well against The Heath. Hopefully we can make about 270. Our bowling = pretty poor, so it should be a good game.

End of Over 50: 292-3, runrate=5.84
Westwood 10-0-79-0
Browne* 40 (22 balls)
Hamlin 53 (29 balls)

Abbey made slow runs, Read an excellent ton and then these two went nuts. Good match on.

It's 4 in the morning here and I can't sleep due to a headache. It's times like these I'm so grateful for BT friendlies being played in Australia...

End of Over 4: 20-1, runrate=5.00, reqrunrate=5.93 (292-3)
Lake 2-0-5-1
Grant* 5 (10 balls)
Caldwell 13 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Bartlett c. Steyn b. Lake 2 (FOW: 4/1)

No. No they are not. Just as a secret between me and you, my players don't like flat pitches. They always manage to contrive new ways of getting out and failing miserably, which is why I don't have overly high hopes of us performing well here! I'm open to being pleasantly surprised though...

Bill Bailey is helping my headache, and Kepler and Grant are actually starting to score some runs now, which is also quite soothing...

End of Over 17: 84-2, runrate=4.94, reqrunrate=6.33 (292-3)
Copeland 4-0-27-0
Grant* 31 (48 balls)
Kepler 33 (37 balls)

Last Wicket: Caldwell c. Bardle b. Lake 15 (FOW: 24/2)

End of Over 40: 182-3, runrate=4.55, reqrunrate=11.50 (296-3)
Hamlin 10-0-38-0
Wight* 16 (31 balls)
Bertos 51 (52 balls)
Last Wicket: Faulds b. Groves 0 (FOW: 147/3)

Should win from here, even though Bertos is still in. I think that will make it 3-1 to me in games against MikeW.

Kepler 114 (110 balls)

Smash overs it is. You'll do well to own Greene and Hindle. Good ento for the crowd. :)

EDIT: Haha, forgot I'm playing Westhead instead of Hindle. Match is surely yours.

Going to lose to Clapo again.....

The Heath get home nicely. Well done, Kepler really smashing it for you. Shouldn't have let Abbey take his time, Hamlin and Browne didn't get enough time at the crease. Bowling was poor aswell. Westhead and Copeland... dear oh dear.

Well done. :)

Wow, pretty surprised we won, though we'd have been totally screwed without Kepler! Rematch in the off-season? I'd be interested to see how I fare against your first team...

Ouch, that's got to hurt.

Defeated Victoria Panthers by 96 runs.

Opening Balance 3-296 (50)
Appleyard 95*(91) Harris 84(106) Moloto 54*(42)
Anthony 1-40 (10), Hutchinson 1-52(10) Barry 1-76(10)

Victoria Panthers 10-201 (44)
Featherstone 63(98) Bertos 61*(59) Sampson 44(58)
Savage 5-25(7) Groves 3-51(10) Verhoeven 1-24(7)

Featherstone basically lost it for Mike imo, the opening partnership was worth 94 runs, but by then the RR was already close to 7. Thats 3-1 to me in matches against Mike.

BARNES OUT

King could join a circus with acrobatics like that. A mid air take, low to his left. How he clung onto that one I will never know. Hodge forced to depart.
42.4 W	Lebohang to Lambert
Oh and King's taken that brilliantly. High and to the right, that catch will be on the highlight reels for years to come.
Jonty's been giving King some coaching it seems...
