**** yeah, Meyer, as usual, gets the vital breakthrough. Cleans up their 3 & 4 in consecutive deliveries (over 2 overs)

Code:
7.6 W Meyer to Parlour
Attempted hook shot by Parlour, goes straight up into the swirling wind. Moloto calls off the other fielders and gets under it to take a marvellous catch. He covered a lot of ground to get there, great work.
Code:
9.1 W Meyer to Brough
Brough leaves it. However, the ball clipping the off stump shows the foolishness of that decision.
In the box seat now, if I lose from hear, I won't be happy.

Code:
End of Over 10: 42-3, runrate=4.20, reqrunrate=5.83 (274-3)
Meyer 5-1-19-2
Fallon* 15 (28 balls)
Zakaria 5 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Brough b. Meyer 0 (FOW: 36/3)

Won by 8 wickets.

I have decided, when Hocking and Poke pop to Wonderful, they will stop training. Auto Promotion is a huge possibility, really doubt i will lose a game this season, and i think with my current batting lineup i will finish in 7th or 8th in III. I really need just one more bat in the middle order, so that 3 wickets doesnt mean a loss everytime.

Decent batting performance. We were actually 244-5 at one stage but 4 wickets in the 2nd last over saw us all out against a much better team. Rested my 3 best bowlers due to PFL so not really suprised by the poor bowling.

And the prof takes my remarkable-quality bowler for 23 off an over. :nono:

Now they are collapsing but after a 180 run partnership between 2 turds.

**** yeah, Strongs   Yeah it was GFI but still, loving it :D. That win puts me into outright 2nd, and I should finish there provided I don't get hammered to much against the team in 1st place.

Played the team coming 3rd in my league and I was expecting a pretty tough match especially with Jeithoon and Muralitharan not playing. But they didn't really turn up.

Daintree Cassowarys v Jaffna Jets: Jets won by 9 wickets

First Innings of: Daintree Cassowarys 63 All Out
Hick 29*(28), Sishayi 7/4(2.4), Matharu 2/31(7)

First Innings of: Jaffna Jets 1/64(16.4)
Lucas 28*(48), Quintin 25*(35)

Sishayi best bowling figures in any form. He got a 7-fer before against Male Models during the CW Cup, but I think he went for more runs. His really starting to hit his straps in the last couple weeks, after a slow start to season.

Not sure if I'm going to play full strength on Sunday in Cup, probably will rest Murali. Jeithoon might play the cup match and rest up in the FC and OD fixtures next week.

As suspected easy win. Best run chase of the season so im also pleased with that.

Easy enough win over a mid-table team on a TIE, although Platt went for a golden duck to round off this week's poor batting performances. Cleared £300k profit for the week too, which was nice. We'll gloss over the fact that my 2m pile of disposable cash appears only to be enough for a proficient these days.

The Heath CC: 323/3 (50) Kepler 142 (122), Grant 104 (128)
Bettis's XI: 41/10 (12.3) Woods 5/18 (6.3), Westwood 4/21 (5)

A great way to round off the week after our win against Weedon Warriors. It was always likely, given that this side have turned bot since I last played them, and I thrashed them when they were still being managed as well. However, it's the first time I've played a rejuvenated bot, so I went PAN just incase and Kepler and Woods ran riot.

The only downside was that Matthew Marrison didn't get a bat or a bowl in his final match for the club, but he will be remembered for his brilliant unbeaten century in his penultimate match for The Heath earlier this week.

In 2nd now, on the same points as 1st place. We play each other next week and I'm quietly confident. Meanwhile, 3rd place lost leaving them 8 points behind me, so I look good for a top two finish at least.

Yeah, he tried to challenge my squad of 17 to a friendly the other week - reckon he was trying to give me PFL problems, considering he could have played one of at least five separate teams! I declined...

I beat him first time round though, so hoping I can do the same next week.

GFI'd against NorCricket, which was probably the right decision as it was looking a bit dicey until Whitehorne's standard slog overs demolition.

Asterix XI 304 (49.5)
Cuss 123 (127), Janes 110 (101), Ashton 40 (39)

Norcricket United 238 (45.2)
Whitehorne 5-37 (7.2), Downer 2-45 (10), Watkins 2-50 (10), Ellis 1-43 (10)

Still no. 1 with a NRR lead of 2.36 apparently, but it's probably wrong.

Was reading sledging, or retards'r'us as i like to call it, and they said that spinners CANNOT bowl in the last ten, they will NEVER take wickets. Whitehorne and Wikus just two prime examples of this.
