The Pool won by an innings and 26 runs.

I should have played Hocking, oh well, got the money.

Ended up winning against the current no.1 team by an innings and 200-odd runs, so should be the new no.1. I think there are a couple of teams below me that are more of a challenge.

212/6 at the end of day two, with a lead of 244 runs. Alan Martin again holding up the tail, 75*. Will declare with a lead of 350 hopefully, and set some aggressive bowling orders.

Was hardly my best bowling line up, but still should've won that after having basically a day to bowl them out for under 300.

Still, got 200-odd-k out of it, so am happy enough.

Guess I was hoping the pitch would deteriorate further, but in the end the Mckenna brothers saw it out well. Don't want to check my PFL's.

Woods makes the early breakthrough, that's his 10th wicket in the game - hopefully the rest should follow quickly.

22.5 W Woods to Cullip
Cullip has mistimed that one. Nolan juggles it but is relieved to take it at the second attempt.

End of Over 23 (1 runs). Jacksons Giants: 52-6, runrate=2.26 (1st Inn: 219-10)

Jacksons Giants: 67 (34.4) Woods 7/29 (17.4), Westwood 2/20 (15)

The Heath CC win by an innings and 216 runs

Very satisfied with that. The batting was almost flawless, with Bartlett continuing to impress in his new role as opener. Meanwhile, Woods was lethal with the ball - a 5-fer in the first innings followed by his best figures in any form of the game left him with match figures of 12/65 from over 40 overs. His average in FC is now 29 wickets 13.17. He's at invigorated so I'll probably play him in tomorrow's big game, and then rest him for the return match against Jacksons Giants next week.

Won our match by 10 wickets and got a nice, large crowd. I'm very happy with how today went. We fplippin' murdered the 3rd ranked team in our league. Such a gulf.
