A horrible mismatch against a much better side in FC this week, followed by a walkover against a bot means that he won't be needed to play this week.

In other news, my first ground upgrade is complete, and I've made a balls up. I wanted a capacity of 15,000, so put in quantities that would result in my stadium being that size:

Standing: 6,750
Uncovered Seats: 6,000
Covered Seats: 1,650
Members Seats: 600

I didn't read the blurb properly, and so I have added these quantities to my default stadium, leaving me with a badly proportioned stadium taking 21,500 people.

Standing: 11,750
Uncovered Seats: 7,400
Covered Seats: 1,650
Members Seats: 700

Is this likely to cost me much?

Training-wise, Fish has double-popped:

Keith Fish - 19 yo, BT Rating=45,000ish
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, destructive
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: remarkable
Batting: quality Concentration: superb
Bowling: worthless Consistency: respectable
Fielding: mediocre

That makes him my third best batsman, albeit a knackered one!

Buckley, my all-rounder trainee, has hit Competent consistency, to go with his Respectable bowling. Still a long way to go, but he should make my 1st XI sometime next season.

Got a tough game today against the best side in my FC league. Hopefully I can put up a bit of a challenge.

I have 940 members at the moment - currently going up quickly as I've won the last five games on the trot. I have nearly £1.2m in the bank and am making almost 80k a week in interest and sponsorship combined.
Hard to know what's best really; you're overpaying about 6k per week in upkeep, whereas it'd cost about 120k to fix your stadium to where you wanted it. So that's 20 weeks before the fix saves you money, and that's not even taking into account the fact that you'll want those seats at some point in the future. I'd say given your current solid situation, just suck it up and slowly upgrade it towards the proper proportions without demolishing anything. On the other hand if you're in any danger of getting promoted soon, and thus having a tricky season, it could rapidly become a bit of a millstone. Still think keep it, though.

Got a home match tomorrow against the toughest side in my FC league; been around since season 1 (so they really ought to be better than they are). Their PFLs are hammered though, so it could be interesting. Forgot to change my pitch from green, so hopefully will still stretch it out to three days.
